Easi Riser™ mechanism

Most of the Bollard Tech™ range of posts can be fitted with the Easi riser™ mechanism.
Basically this reduces the actual lifting weight of certain types of our telescopic security posts. When fitted as an option the internal gas strut both assists and aids the rising of the security post inner.

This feature means authorised users can operate the ‘heavier’ duty posts designs fitted with this gas strut with minimal physical effort and reducing the risk of any strain or injury.

Even the largest and heavier duty post designs therefore fall well under the recommended maximum health & safety maximum single person lifting guideline of 20kg.

The Easi Riser™ mechanism reduces the products lifting weight by between 70 and 85%.

The smooth and controlled action of the post culminates with the locking of the post in its raised position. Similarly the mechanism also acts as a damper in reverse when lowering the bollard, minimising the risk of damage to the overall bollard unit.
